UFC President Dana White is planning to put on a show for the troops in Afghanistan, likely at Kandahar Air Field, in the coming months. White claims that he wants to do something for the soldiers and bringing a UFC event to them is a dream of his. The technicalities of the show have yet to be ironed out but a "Fight for the Troops" event could be held there in 2010. Initially there were some doubts as to whether the event could be broadcast stateside but last night White suggested it was possible. The UFC will likely keep the date and location secret as long as possible for safety reasons.
