Barkley: If the suns get to run they win, if the blazers slow them down they can have a possiblity of winning.

The old geezer still hates us :(

Man, starting a game after 10 PM pst....that would suck.

Although west coast games always start after 10 for the Eastern seaboard.

Well, he is correct if we are going off of the series so far.

He gives us no chance when they run but gives the suns a chance when the don't. We have won the games at a slow pace they have won the games at a fast pace. I was pointing out that maybe he should have just called it as it has played out so far.

They blow us out when they run. We squeak by when they don't. What's to disagree with his assessment? Close games have a much higher chance of going either way than blowouts.

I believe Ernie said it is difficult to get a read on whats going to happen with this series, and in that aspect, I agree with him. I can't figure out who is going to be able to dictate the tempo from a game to game basis, and I doubt Barkley can either.

One thing about it, NM is a master at slowing teams down, he has been doing it for years.!

This series so far has been decided by the second quarter IMO. By the second quarter it is established as to who has the game being played at their pace. So far every game that has been at the Blazer pace by midway through the second quarter, they have won. Every game that is at PHX pace, the Suns have won walking away. I expect no different tonight.

If I was Nate tonight I would have a very short leash on the timeouts. 6 points max a run probably before taking one.
