Seriously, though, the kid has been outstanding in the three games he got minutes in the playoffs. I suppose you could argue that he's racking it up in garbage time, but that's what good rookies are supposed to do.

How about trying him on the floor before we get down by 20, Nate?

I've been begging fo rhim to get time over Howard, at least a couple of times. Not replace him the entire game, but get him some minutes in the second quarter, or late first if there is foul trouble. He brings energy and hustle, two thing Howard sorely lacks. Howard usually knows where he should be, but is just too damn slow to get there. I suppose at this point, I'd take Cunningham's lapses that might be more mental over that. Seems the second Aldridge goes out, Amre starts gettin the ball on the block against Howard. Ugh.

You know who coaches this team right? I fully agree with your idea, but I don't see it happening.

There isn't a player on the team that has a positive +/-. So whats your point?

I like Dante, but they seem to put him in for Howard so he's battling much larger guys that he should. Pend needs to go in when Camby sits. I don't think he can really check Amare better, but he can rebound at a higher rate.

Seems obvious to me that Cunningham has the worst of the +/- numbers on the teams. Wasn't that his point? I don't know what it means, but that was the obvious point, right?

The thing about numbers? Some of them are bigger than others? There's more than just two numbers, all the positives and all the negatives. At least, that's what they taught me in school. I concede that the accepted wisdom may have changed since then.
