he Milwaukee Iron claimed their third victory of the season as they held off the Tampa Bay Storm at the Bradley Center, and rolled to a 72-61 victory. The Iron are perfect on the season, winning by double digits each game. The Storm drop to 1-2, and fail to get Coach Tim Marcum his 200th career victory.

Early on in the first half it was a back and forth affair between the two clubs, exchanging blow after blow. It was the combination of Iron quarterback Chris Greisen to wide out Damian Harrell to get the scoring going.

Harrell had nine catches for 78 yards and three scores. Along the way the 10-year veteran also logged his 1,000th career catch. Harrell about the historic catch, "I don't really think about the records, I'm just focused on winning."

Greisen, who still has yet to turn the ball over, fired seven touchdown passes while racking up 270 yards, falling just short of his third 300-yard game of the season. Greisen wowed the Bradley Center crowd as he scrambled around in the pocket for a second quarter Iron score, putting Milwaukee up 21-14.

Fullback, and Iron Man of the Game, Tyre Young got into the scoring action late in the first half. Young bounced of a would-be tackler and plowed his way into the endzone for a score making it 28-21 Iron. Young finished the game with three scores and 44 yards on the ground.

Keeping the Storm not only in the game but staked to a 34-31 lead at the half was wide receiver Cleannord Saintil. Saintil finished with a game-high nine catches for 128 yards and four touchdowns, also rushing for two on the side.

Coming out of the locker room down at the half for the first time all season, the Iron looked to turn things around. It was Saintil crashing the party again on the first play from scrimmage, as he and Storm quarterback Brett Dietz hooked up for a deep ball to open the half and bring the Storm lead to ten. After a Harrell fourth down score to cut the lead to three it looked like the Storm would answer right back.

Standing in the way was a stingy Iron defense. It was Carlton Brown intercepting the Dietz pass and swinging the game the Iron way. Late in the third quarter it was Tiger Jones catching a touchdown pass putting the Iron up for good 52-48. Jones finished with nine catches for 72 yards and three touchdowns.

Early on in the fourth quarter the Storm looked to regain the lead but it was the Iron defense holding strong as they stuffed Tampa Bay from the three yard line on a fourth down attempt. With just seconds left in the fourth quarter, the game already in hand it was the Iron defense slamming the door with a pick from cornerback Tracy Belton.

The Iron will look to stay perfect on the season as they go on the road to Alabama May 1st to take on the Vipers.
