Link for Series Okay, well going into Cleveland, i see Chauncey getting hot because in the first round he got hot when he went on the road. But my predictions for this game are...>PISTONS<*Chauncey-20+ pts 7+ ast*Rip-18 to 20+ points*Tayshaun- he may cool off a bit but he'll deff. have to lift us in this one 13 to 20 pts 7+ boards*Sheed- FEED THE SHEED-Hes Hot In The Series! He will continue to dominate the Cavs big men. 18-30pts 10+ boards, maybe a few blocks...*Big Ben- Whatever he does, he will definitely help us toward a win. who cares how many points, and 12+ rebounds.*Bench-Dyess will give us a lift along with Delk, Hunter, and Evans. Maybe even Delfino and Davis will get in if needed.>CAVALIERS<*PG's- Snow or Damon Jones cannot matchup with our teams PG play, Chauncey himself can outdo both. but remember Jones in particular can get hot. especially from downtown.*SG's-Hughes needs to really come out and play better. he has not been a factor all year (i know he was injured) but even when he's been back, he just hasn't played to his potential. and Flip Murray is doing a good job picking up the slack for He, and LeBron at times. so watch out for him.*LeBron James- i think that Tayshaun will keep him on L's (lockdown) throughout the night, but i still see him getting hot sometime during the game, hopefully it will be the same time as Game 2.*Gooden- he can give them alot of energy but as i said before-too much Sheed.*Big Z- He has sort of played as a non-factor, but they really are going to need him in this game to step up offensively and defensively.*the rest of the bench- besides Jones, the cavs still have Donyell Marshall, a good three point shooter. and Anderson Varejo-who brings out alot of energy off the bench. dont let anyone get hot. and we shold be fine.<div align="center">Final Thoughts</div><div align="center">Pistons will win it...maybe an 1-0-something to high 80's to low 90's. but we will get it done.Chauncey or Sheed will be the POG if we DO win. LeBron will be for Cle, unless someone else is a hero in this one.</div> :dribble: DEEETROIT BAS-KET-BALLL!!!!
I gotta agree with you,the Pistons always seemed prepared for the game. They know that there not going to be able to stop Bron so whats the next best thing?Make him use the thing that is his teamates.I can possibly see this series being a sweep.
Cleveland might be able to get one game out of this if they're lucky, but the Pistons have done such a nice job aginst them so far. Prince has done well defending LeBron as I expected and now with Hughes leaving, it's not looking too good. I see the Pistons picking up the sweep as well though.
yeah, I really didnt know that Hughes was doubtful :Swoon: . but he has sort of been a non-factor in the playoffs anyways. but heres a stat: the Pistons have struggled in game 3's through out the past 3 years. losing 9 out of 10 and the lone victory came in Milwaukee back in '04 when they won it all.buckle your seat belts! or just tie a string to something...
I think this will be the only one the Cavs will take. Lebron will be pumped, he will probably get 40, 6 and 4. Detroit will let this one slip but they will take the series 4-1
I disagree. Lebron can't do it all himself and even if he gets 40 points I don't think that will be enough to beat the Pistons. I predict Pistons take the Cavs out of their misery after this game. 100-89.
Before the series began, I predicted the Detroit Pistons to finish it off in five games, with this being the sole game that the Cavaliers would win in the series. However, right now I don't know what to think. I'm pulling for a Detroit win, but my gut feeling is that Cleveland will somehow pull this game out.
Everyone will step up in Hughes' absence. I predict 15-20 performances from both Gooden and Big Z. Cleveland has to atleast get one out of this series. They made a nice run towards the end of the last game. Maybe they can carry it over to this one.
I just dont see the Cavs winning a game in the series unless Detroit takes a game off like they did against the Bucks. I just dont see them doing that either though. It was tough with Hughes in the game, and if he misses(which is understandable due to the circumstances) its just nearly impossible. Another thing i think is part of it is that the i believe the Cavs are already happy with thier season and dont care if they lose this year. They arent hungry enough to win any games. They are satisfied with what they've done this season. The Pistons just need to get the brooms out. I smell a sweep.
With Larry Hughes out it just solidifies my prediction of a sweep. We will win todays game 103-82 is my prediction.
With Hughes out it will be hard for the Cavs to defend the perimeter, and that is the key to them winning any games in this series. I think that Richard Hamilton will have a huge game tonight without Hughes guarding him leading the Pistons to a vicory.

The refs boned us in the, ... yea. Late calls, and stupid calls like the Evans one.... it was stupid. BUT, enough excuses, I said 5 games and I am sticking to it!
forget it, well its a final fellas, 86-77 CAVS WIN. Good job though to the Cavs on their solid effort that payed off tonight. The Dagger came with 1:10 left on a 3 by LeBron James who scored 15 points in the fourth quarter for a total of 21, followed by another three for Damon Jones-assisted by Bron- and LeBron ended up with his second triple double of the series. Bron came out a little weak only making two field goals in the first half, both of which were in the 1st quarter. But he helped his team out in stepping up like Donyell Marshall who had 9 points, Flip Murray who had 13 and Anderson Vareajo who was second for the Cavs in scoring with 16. And LeBron was key, stepping up in the fourth. For Detroit, Rip Hamilton scored 22 points on 9-18 shooting along with 5 assists. Chauncey Billups had 20 points on 6-15 shooting to go along with 5 dimes and 3 steals. Rasheed Wallace was weak scoring 11 on 3-11 from the field and only 6 boards. Ben had 13 boards and no blocks. The bench was especially weak scoring a combined 9 points to 28 bench points for Cleveland. 6 were scored by Antonio McDyess and the other three by Lindsey Hunter. The Cavs shot 50% from the field compared to 39% for Detroit. They were outdone in the paint, being outscored 44-28 The 4th quarter was very "entertaining" if I may say. The Cavs got into foul trouble early, but then there were fouls called on the Pistons. Some of which were late. Zyndrunas Ilgauskus, played only 22 minutes, and didnt play down the strech along with Drew Gooden. The Pistons have now lost the 10th out of their eleventh game three on the road. Whats the problem there? The series is now 2-1 still led by the Pistons and Game 4 will be on Monday at 7 in Cleveland.Hopefully the Pistons can learn from the mistakes made into tonights game such as the 16 turnovers, a very high number...Up above is an article written by ME!....

^ Don't feel bad, alot of people had the pistons sweeping but for some reason we can't win a game three..... it is annoying but we will still win in 5 games.

They'll win in 5.
yeah, i forgot that in my article: the Pistons have now lost the 10th out of their eleventh game three on the road. whats the problem there? i'll edit that in...i didnt want to just do it because i am afraid that no-one will see it...
