The last time Dmitri Young set foot in the Tigers' clubhouse, the team was a month away from making the World Series. Young had battled drug and alcohol abuse that summer of 2006. He also was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence. Young eventually returned to the club that year and hit reasonably well. It wasn't enough. He was cut in early September. Tuesday afternoon, Young returned to Comerica Park. Was it strange, he was asked? "Not at all," he said.
