PC2700SODIMM, probably (DDR 333MHz). Best buy or whoever will do the install for him will let him know. You can get 1GB for about $50 but I'm not too familiar with upgrading Macs... I think the installed memory might be soldered to the board... I'm not sure what the max capacity is for (each?) additional memory slot.
Honeslty, DDR is extremely old school. I have 6 gigs of DDR3 in my rig which is more than enough. Do laptops offer DDR2? I don't know much about them, to be honest.
My desktop system has 8gigs of DDR3 and my laptop has 4gigs of DDR2. I run Vista x64 on both systems and have had no problems. I tried to get the student version of Windows 7 but Microsoft said Denny Crane's SportsTwo University isn't an accredited institution. Is Forum Sciences really a degree? I thought 36% interest was a little high for a student loan but Denny said without the degree I could never be paid staff here.
I would love to show you some shit to get, Professional Fan, but I don't know anything about laptop hardware.
Did you miss the part where I said I have a desktop puter also? My buddy works for these guys, I get some aftermarket goodies from here time to time - http://nwca.com/
