Also, do you want to start some sort of World Cup prediction game? We could probably get a bit more hits on the site if we do. Lets keep it much more simple than that previous game we 'tried' to start up.

What a flop that was. Then the guy bailed out.

I think it is a great idea. Has the schedule been released yet?

I was pretty pumped for that, to be honest.

No, I don't believe so. Once I get home I'll look around for something.

Dunno... on BPL.com... you're Team Ronan. You started the league IIRC.

Yeah. You've been in first all season without making a single roster change, LOL!

So, van Persie is still fit for Wigan. Lets hope he starts.

Also, what sort of formation were we using when van Persie came on against Spurs? It just confused me seeing as Bendtner was still on.

    I dunno.

20 mins of RVP reminded me of how Bendtner can't create for himself, though.

Yeah, I can't believe that volley didn't go in though! I've been so depressed with out recent run of form that I haven't even watched any MotD highlights. FML.

Most of Bendtner's goals are fairly easy but he has saved our asses a couple of times since his return. Could you imagine Torres at Arsenal? That would just be...

Gee DUB how did you know Arsenal's season would be ruined by injuries?

Because I've followed Arsenal long enough to know the pattern of our season.

We'll be playing fantastically; the whole world will be gushing over our play; we'll suffer some terrible injuries, but we'll valiantly struggle on still winning games; some time around February-March we'll start being knocked out of competitions, the players exhausted (thus picking up even more injuries) from having double up; then the final insult will come, being put out of the premiership title race somewhere in the last four or five games, by some hack team kicking the shit out of us.

I don't know why I get my hopes up at the start of every season.

An injury prone player at an injury prone club?

That would just be... one very expensive bench warmer.

Well, the new season is here and it's only matter of time until this thread because the most active thread on the history of the internet. The fact that we have 6 pages of this bullshit sickens me.

Our injuries are so extensive and consistent, Arsenal.com have even decided to upgrade the injury page. It's much more user friendly. No longer will be confused at the amount of players out. Is it 9 or 10? Shit.
    Current Injuries
    Thomas Vermaelen
    (Achilles)

Vermaelen suffered an Achilles injury while on international duty and missed the 4-1 win over Bolton. Wenger has said he should be fit for the match against Braga on Wednesday but will most likely make the bench.

    Nicklas Bendtner
    (groin)

Bendtner has been suffering with a groin injury since the World Cup and should return in two to three weeks.

    Aaron Ramsey (broken leg)
Aaron Ramsey last featured for Arsenal against Stoke where we won 3-1. He is set for a November return. All Wenger has said is, "Aaron is running." Thanks.

    Theo Walcott (ankle)

Walcott suffered an ankle injury while on international duty. It wasn't as bad as first feared by should be back in a month.

    Robin van Persie
    (ankle)

van Persie suffered an ankle injury against Blackburn on the 28th. He will be out for a month, a similar injury return as Walcott.

    Emmanual Frimpong (cruciate knee ligament)

Frimpong suffered a knee injury during training ahead of the Blackpool match. He will be out for around nine months. Good luck to him.

    Abou Diaby (leg)

This had not yet been confirmed by Arsenal.com, but I'm sure we will see him on there. Paul Robinson (the ****) went studs in on Diaby while we were playing Bolton Rugby Club. All I have heard is that Abou Diaby 'can not move his leg'. That doesn't sound too good but I'm no doctor.

I have no idea how they sort this list. Seems to make no sense to me. Anyway, that's 3-4 first team injuries depending on how you look at it.

    Injury returns

Nasri is back! He was on the bench for the Bolton match but did not get on the pitch.
