A look at the career stats of Rich Harden shows that opponents just don't have much success when putting the ball in play against him. He entered the season with the second-lowest opponents' batting average among pitchers with 125 starts at .220. Only Johan Santana was better, and just barely at .219. Harden knows that. He has seen that this year in his first season with the Texas Rangers. No matter how hard he's throwing the ball, batters just aren't making good contact. But Harden hasn't found a way to keep from putting runners on base, and he was noticeably frustrated Wednesday night after earning his first victory in a Rangers uniform. http://www.star-telegram.com/2010/04/28/2150539/rangers-rich-harden-finds-little.html
