Marlins' fast start comes to screeching halt against Padres

    All manager Fredi Gonzalez was hoping to get out of Nate Robertson on three days' rest was five good innings Wednesday.

    Robertson managed four. Then, the Padres sent him to the showers and took control in the fifth.

    Trailing by four runs, San Diego scored five in the fifth inning before its bullpen began dominating and defeated the Marlins 6-4 Wednesday afternoon at Sun Life Stadium.

    It was the third consecutive series loss for the Marlins, who fell to 11-11 after opening the season winning three of their first four series. They also split four games with the Cincinnati Reds.
