    So Monday night I was feeling sorry for myself because the Blazers were getting dominated and the refs were bending us over, when I got a phone call from my mom. My dad has lung cancer. They've known for a month but they didn't want to ruin the engagement. Needless to say, it's been a shitty few days...

    Sounds like a lame ass John Canzano article....

    Sorry to hear that Nate. I've seen cancer run through my family throughout the years and know the sinking feeling you get when you hear that word mentioned all too well. My thoughts are with you and your family. Hopefully they caught it early enough.
