Maybe that's why his rehab is supposedly behind schedule -- "wrong leg Greg."

I don't believe in Greg but I do know he is our best (an probably only) chance for a title.

I wish I could believe in Greg but right now that seems a bit too shakey.

I don't remember Oden having much of an impact when he did play in a playoff series last year.

I think he could have a big impact as he plays more, but to say he will have more of an impact than Durant in the playoffs is a heck of a statement given each player's performace in the playoffs.

Greg had the best defense against Yao.

Oden sucked in the playoffs. It was the Roy/Aldridge show with very little help, if any, from the rest of the team.

    The stats:

    5 PPG
    4 RPG
    16 MPG
    5 Fouls per game
    11 PER

    KD's stats:

    24.8 PPG
    8.0 RPG
    2.6 FPG
    17.3 PER

KD also had a better defensive rating. You really can't compare the two.

Was kind of hard for Oden to stay in the game when he touches Yoa and they call a foul on either side of the court.

The naive, unbridled optimism of some Blazer fans is kinda cute.

When talking about this team, and Oden in particular, *nothing* is a given, and nothing should be taken for granted.

One more thing: we have seen Oden's first play-off series, and we have seen KD's first play-off series. Can we now retire the "Oden would be more valuable in the play-offs" meme?

A (more) fair comparison ---> Serge Ibaka

    7.4 PPG
    6.2 RPG
    24.4 MPG
    3.4 Fouls per game
    102 DRtg (compared to Greg's 107)
    15.2 PER

Perhaps and only for the small amount of time he was on the court due to foul trouble.

    I would take Durant/Ibaka over Bayless/Oden in a heartbeat.

The point is we could've had Durant AND Ibaka. People say you need a big man to win a title, but Ibaka is looking like he could turn into that kinda of player.

Oh, I get it. I was going to say, I would give Oden and Roy for Durant. :D
