The New York Yankees won over the Baltimore Orioles by a score of 4-0. Robinson Cano is SOARING in the baseball sky!! SOARRRRRING!! You CAN’T cool him down! It’s good to be Cano!!! TWO home run smashes, a great play in the field. Yankee fans, did you see the play in the field he made? He was twisting and turning and all kind of funny. It was so epic and grand that I got up on my feet and gave him a standing ovation. It was ridiculous. I felt like I was watching a play at Broadway and Cano was the star of the show. The first home run bomb he hit was a blast. As soon as his bat made a connection with the ball, it was like, “BOOM!” and you knew it was gone. It was one of those no doubt about it shots. Then, the Orioles called a left-handed pitcher to get him out in the eighth inning because Cano’s on fire. So what happened next??? He hit ANOTHER bomb!! Then he had teammates sitting next to him in the dugout hoping that some of his magic would rub off. OHHH, OHHH, I don’t know what I’m going to do now. Let me walk away from the computer…. You should of just seen me. I was walking through my hallway to get some water in the refrigerator and I was shaking my head in disbelief going, “Wow, Cano can’t be stopped.” What do teams do to stop him??? Nothing I hope! Then he’s scoring a run after hitting a double. It’s the everything man. He can do every thing like he knows he can. I’m going to out on a limb here. I’m going to predict that Robinson Cano is going to win MVP. As in “Most Valuable Player?” They call it the Robinson Cano show! Have you heard?? I can’t just give praise to Robinson Cano. I’m going to have to give it to A.J. Burnett’s pitching and Francisco Cervelli’s game calling. See, Cervelli has the “know how.” He knows how to call a game. He’s now an official experienced major league catcher. He’s now a “primary” game caller. Burnett was POUNDING his fastball. The O’s couldn’t handle him. I have proof that the O’s couldn’t handle him. It was eight, shut, out, innings. You can’t top “that!” You just can’t! Eight innings, no runs, four strikeouts, only three hits given up and guess what? Only one walk. Wow, one walk all game. Now that’s control. Burnett controlled the Orioles all game. His ERA is now at 2.43. He’s also a HORSE. He HORSED the Orioles. He threw 116 pitches at them and they still couldn’t get to him! You know what? It’s good being a Yankee fan.
Robby Cano has been fantastic this year. And he's a good enough hitter that he could keep this pace up for a while. It could finally be the year where he wins his first batting title, and maybe put his name in MVP talks.
