The New York Yankees won over the Baltimore Orioles by a score of 8-3. C.C. Sabathia got the win. The Yankees decided that quick action was needed. They struck decisively and effectively and ended the threat of a continued losing streak. They restricted the Orioles and contained them while delivering them a crushing blow of defeat. It was awesome. It was phenomenal and mind blowing. It was spectacular. What more can you say about Robinson Cano’s sixth home run off of Jeremy Guthrie? It was beautiful. I’ve never seen a shot like that in my life. It was so incredible that I had to get my inhaler because I couldn’t breathe. THAT’S what it was like. Nick Swisher had two runs scored and two RBI. Derek Jeter had a run scored and two RBI. Nick Johnson, two runs score. Francisco Cervelli, takes over for Jorge and goes 2-for-4 with an RBI. Are you kidding me? Wow! Can you say, the Yankees are back to CRUSHING the opponent again? Let me explain to you what the Yankees are. They’re strong. Do you what else they are? They’re bigger and “larger.” Simply put, they are superior. They are so superior that they’ll make you get wearier. Yankee fans. Let’s play a little game of trivia. Do you know what a wrecking ball is? You do? Ok, great. Do you know what a brick building is? You do? Ok, great. Now, the Yankees are the “wrecking ball” and the building was the Baltimore Orioles. Here’s the final question. Do you know what happened next? What? Exactly. The Yankees WRECKED the building. They WRECKED the Orioles. The wrecking ball worked like it was supposed to. C.C. Sabathia was a WARRIOR. He hung in there. Sure, he gave up three earned runs on 11 hits but he pitched into the eighth inning and saved the Yankee bull pen since the game wasn’t close. Yankee fans. This is what the Yankees are about. Beating opponents to submission and addressing the opponent with domination. That’s all it’s about. That’s all it’s going to be about. Yankee fans? Welcome aboard. Yankee fans? Yankees are back!
I don't see how posting after only wins makes him a band wagoner. Maybe if he decided to just up and start liking the Yankees last year because they were good...that's what I'd consider a band wagoner. But to simply post about wins isn't really band wagoning...maybe makes him a bit of a fair-weather fan, but not really a band wagoner. And he's largely correct, a lot of fans don't care to read about their team losing.
Usually, when my team loses, I don't like to read articles about them losing. I'll skip the whole article. Like if the Star Ledger(New Jersey newspaper) posts about the Yankees after they lose, I won't read it.
