The Mayor is returning to Ames. Former Iowa State star Fred Hoiberg, nicknamed the Mayor in his college days, has accepted the Cyclones job to replace Greg McDermott. The news was first reported by ABC-5 in Iowa. Sources have told FOXSports.com that an official announcement is expected on Wednesday.
