If Hawks rookie point guard Jeff Teague hopes to play a major role next season he’ll probably have to make strides during the summer league. The Hawks are set to participate in the Las Vegas Summer League on July 9-18. The Hawks didn’t have a summer-league entry in 2009 so Teague, the team’s first-round draft pick last June, participated in a minicamp in Atlanta. Teague hasn’t been a regular part of coach Mike Woodson’s rotation this season and played a total of 21 minutes in the first five games of the playoff series vs. Milwaukee. Earning more minutes next season could depend on how much he develops in the offseason. http://www.ajc.com/sports/atlanta-hawks/teague-looking-to-summer-509920.html
