GO CELTICS!!! Holy shit I so much want to see LeBron lose.. It's going to be tough but C's really looked like champions in the first round. It took wade like 46 pts or something to beat them. LeBron will have to do it on his own, which he won't

Oh well, they were the better team for most of the game. They choked late and caught a few bad breaks. If you watched that game and feel like this series isn't going to be close then you're crazy. Also, KG 20 and 10 not bad for a guy that's all done.

It got annoying when they stopped going to Rondo and Pierce just kept missing. I can't believe it, but I'm rooting for the Celtics here all the way. C's in 7.

Cavs in 6 is a close series, don't know what you're talking about. ;)

Wow, Celtics had it today. Poor defense on Mo Williams cost you guys the game.

Fuck the Cavs though, hopefully C's in 6.

    I like your avatar, Thrilla.

All the green in this forum makes me thing of UFOs and aliens.

    Rondo looks like an alien.

It is called age. I'm not sure they beat themselves, more like reverted to their level. The Celtics would have had this one a couple of years ago.

btw, Rasheed Wallace is absolute trash.

Sad to see how much he has declined.

lmao, they lose their 2nd game of the playoffs, in Cleveland to the #1 seed in the NBA, and it's because of age. you have this pathetic agenda against the team, I feel bad for you. You better pay attention to your own team, though, because they look like they are coming apart at the seams. They must be too old, too. Kobe is over the hill.

I don't understand this post. Clearly the Lakers are old, you should recognize the same quality in your team. I've been saying that for a while now so it isn't anything personal against Boston.

I have no agenda I just stated what happened. They were dominating most of the game right? They couldn't finish off the job. Honestly, I thought I was complimenting your 2008 team with my last post.

KG is the same player? Pierce and Allen? It doesn't matter if they would have lost to the 96 Bulls, I'm tracking their individual production. Hmm let's see... They're less talented than before, a lower seed, and dealt with injuries. I wonder why? You're right age couldn't have anything to do with it. ;)

Except I also think the Lakers are old and they won't be winning anything either. And it would seem LA is healthier and more talented than Boston this season. My standards are high this year. Woops. ;] I'm a very objective person and I respect the Celtics.

Rondo was dominating until they were finally able to slow him down. That's what happened. I guess Rondo is too old for you.

And yes, Allen and Pierce are the same players they were in 08. KG has declined, but that's negated by Rondo's improvement.

And age isn't the only thing that causes injuries, ask Greg Oden and Andrew Bynum. I do believe age had a factor on the Celtics season in terms of effort, though. It's clear they weren't trying hard in the regular season, defensively. They probably thought they could turn up the intensity in the playoffs. So far so good. They need to take game 2, though.

I think Rondo will have a great series but he's not Chris Paul on offense. I can't expect just him to get you through this thing. You also have to consider that Antawn Jamison was not in Cleveland the whole year and Bron is taking these games more seriously (it isn't just Boston playing harder).

Let's assume you haven't lost a single step on defense. KG's PER still went from 25 in 08 to 19 this year. Allen went from 16 to 15 (not a huge drop actually), Pierce went from almost 20 to 18. Your core is much older. Rondo makes up for your other perimeter players being off but that Superstar KG is gone.

I also factored in a lack of homecourt advantage, which was important for Boston in 2008.

what killed the C's is letting Mo get hot, and then pretty much choking, I would have benched Pierce for the whole 4th quarter, that bitch needs to stop acting like a superstar and pass the ball up when he sees an open man.

Hopefully we have a chance of getting game 2. :(

I agree about Pierce. He did not have a good 2nd half at all. He should have recognized that Rondo had the hot hand, and passed the rock

I haven't seen Cavs get dominated this badly in a while.
