This feels weird....but I really like what he brings to the table with his size and rebounding I hate Duke with a passion but I think Zoubek could be a legitimate guy off the bench in the NBA. As of right now he's the #1 OReb efficiency guy and his length brings a huge presence in the paint. Thoughts?
Re: Brian Zoubek You can't teach height = someone gives him a shot. He was so bad for so long. Makes you wonder how good he could have been had he not had those 3 foot injuries the first 3 years.
Re: Brian Zoubek I like him too. Sort of reminds me of Brad Miller without the passing. Big, smart, plays hard, tough, solid rebounder.
Really good summary of Zoubek's game DraftExpress' breakdown of Brian Zoubek You mentioned Brad Miller... According to the Synergy info, Zoubek took one jump shot all season. He'll definitely need to get a jump shot if he's going to be the next Miller. And actually, he does have the passing game. He was extremely effective for Duke this past season while passing out of the post. It wasn't something he did well early on in his career, but by his senior season, he was great at drawing the double team, staying under control, and finding the open man on the opposite side of the floor. It'll be interesting to see where he goes. If it's the right situation, I think he could stick around for a while in the NBA.
