Good news since hes a really solid player and has the bulk/length to play the three. Wonder if his athleticism is affected by the injury from last season.

What do you guys think of Azubuike's role on this team? Does Reggie Williams' performance last season earn him playing time over Azu? Love Buke but the one major knock on him was his lack of passing and that's something that Reggie does very well.

I'm happy with that, I think there's a place for both of them. Azubuike is probably the tougher player, he's a guy who can bang with small forwards and take it to the rack strong. The odd man out might be Morrow, especially if Monta stays. Williams and Azubuike are relatively complete players (who can also hit the outside shot at a high percentage) while Morrow has serious holes in his game that make him a liability much of the time.

I'm not too worried with Buike and RWill conflicting. RWill can slide to the 2 if they both need to be on the court. Besides, Buike is only here for one more year, so if there is any sort of conflict, it's good trade bait as he is a quality player (barring no injuries).

Good point by Steinmentz. I forgot that Morrow is an RFA. He seemed to be getting shut out of the rotation a little bit last season and while hes improved his game hes still way behind Reggie, Azu, hell even CJ (as much as I hate him I have to give him credit for having a very good season). Hes a deadly shooter but those three are very good from deep in their own right and they're all much more athletic, capable of penetrating, playing decent defense, etc.

That being said Morrow has some value and we should explore just how much we could get in a S&T. It'd be tough to see him go because hes a once in a lifetime three point shooter who will likely thrive on any team with a star who commands a double team and a space in the rotation for him. What could we get for Morrow straigh up though? How about packaged with Beans or Wright or even Ellis or Maggette? (I know you can't trade a S&T with another player but you can divide a deal into two separate trades to make it work if salaries match)

Don't forget that we now have Curry as a serious outside threat as well, plus hopefully a healthy Azubuike, which further minimizes the need for Morrow, as they can both hit 3s at as nearly a high % and do much more. I love Anthony Morrow, great Warriors and a great story, but I don't think I'd pay much more than $1.5M-$2M to keep him, the Warriors just have much greater needs right now. And as Steinmetz says, even if they can afford him, there might not be any PT for him anyway. Kind of like Belinelli.
