O'Neal must take some blame, too

LeBron James has taken much of the heat for the Cavaliers' lethargic starts in two games against the Boston Celtics.

But James has a big partner in crime.

Shaquille O'Neal, the Cavs' 7-foot-1, 325-pound center, has hit a combined 1-for-7 in the first quarters of Games 1 and 2 and is just 8-for-22 from the field in the series. And none of O'Neal's misses in the first 12 minutes have come from farther than 6 feet.

The series is tied 1-1 as the Cavs head to Boston for Games 3 and 4 on Friday and Sunday. And while there seem to be woes aplenty on the Cavs' side, including James' sore right elbow and Anderson Varejao's back spasms, O'Neal cannot escape scrutiny.

This is a terrible match up for Shaq. The Celtics have one of the best post defenders in Perkins and he doesn't need double team help. Celtics can run a lot of pick and roll against Shaq and get easy shots.
