Source Sometimes we forget these guys are people too, and that we ridicule them for every mistake they make. This guy has been a thorn to soooo many franchises because he didn't fit in. Many writers were saying he would plague the Mariners, but because their club house environment is so good, it actually helped him realize he has a problem. I hope he can resolve his issues, and comeback to help the team.
At least he's finally admitting the problem is him and not blaming everyone else. Classy move by the franchise to step in and get him the help he needs.
Really liked how he got pulled in the 7th, went home early, called Wak to apologize, went to the Kids Function in the morning, apologized to his teammates in the afternoon and had a one-on-two with Wak and Jack Z. to ask for help. Agree that it's classy on the franchise's part. And people in our neck of the woods generally respond well to stuff like this, as opposed to, say, Philly or NYC or CHI.
