"The ball sailed high and far down the left field line, and like too many fly balls the Mets' pitchers had surrendered at Great American Ballpark, the only question was whether it would linger just inside the foul pole. It did, giving Orlando Cabrera a walk-off home run leading off the 10th against Pedro Feliciano, sending the fireworks blasting into the sky and the Mets off the field with their heads down, losers in a 5-4 decision to the Reds. The shocking conclusion - or not so shocking if you listened to the Mets' pitchers grumbling about the way the ball flies out of the park - left the Mets limping out of Cincinnati with two losses to finish off a 2-4 road trip, and four losses in their last five games. Both losses came on extra-inning, walk-off homers. "When you get blown out like that [10-0] second game in Philly, it's a loss and you take it," right fielder Jeff Francoeur said, referring to the first of the four losses on the trip. "That's baseball. But when you lose like this twice, you know this isn't a park where you feel very comfortable in extra innings because you know it's just one swing and it doesn't have to be hit that well." While it may have been another heartbreaking finish, the Mets had more than just the last ball sailing out of the park to worry about." http://www.northjersey.com/sports/p..._Walkoff_homer_buries_Mets_in_Cincinnati.html
