....in the history of the NBA Playoffs.

Did you guys see it? I DVRed it and just watched it. Oh my LORD. That's right up there with LeBron, Reggie Miller, and Sleepy Floyd. The guy was incredible. Scored in the paint at will. Dropped threes like they were layups. Got fouled on a three, made it anyway. From the very last minute of the third quarter to the end of the game, he scored 26 points. I'm floored. That was fantastic.

    Bravo, Goran

It was amazing to watch--he'll never forget that game--good for him.

I know! I was blown away. I'm so glad I didn't miss it. You never know when something like that is going to happen in a game so I'm glad I was able to see it. The Spurs and their fans must be shocked.

Any PG behind Nash will look great in a system customized for Nash. Even I would look like a poor man's Gary Grant.

That's ridiculous. There HAVE been many point guards behind Nash but none of them did what Goran did. Goran just attacked and showed so many amazing moves in the paint and then just drilled shots. Had nothing to do with any system. It was just Goran going 1 on 5 and taking names. It's up there with Reggie and LeBron. Those are the only two players I've ever seen do that in the 4th quarter of a playoff game on the road, no less.

If he's so good, why didn't he get more than 17 minutes to rest a 35 year old PG? Alvin Gentry knows what he's doing. For one thing, he escaped the Clippers.

Well yeah. So was Reggie. So was LeBron. You don't drop 26 points in 13 minutes without being extremely hot. But it wasn't just threes. He's was crafty in the paint as well.

Honestly, it was one of the greatest 4th quarter performances in the history of the NBA Playoffs. Top 5 easily. And so unexpected. Out of nowhere.

I just noticed that all KingSpeed threads begin with either "No Joke" or "Sources:"

The only serious ones are the former. Man I hate these comedians.

By the way, lost in all the madness is Frye's 9 pt, 5 reb, 2 blk, +15 performance tonight. Man, their bench is the real deal.
