Stern will do anything to give a ring to LeElbow.

Knowing a lot of people from Cleveland and the surrounding areas, I'd like Lebron to stay as well. Not only does he have the best chance of winning a championship in Cleveland (aside from maybe a Harris-Lopez-James trio in NJ), but I don't think many people realize just how much he means to that city. With a shitty Browns team, lack of a hockey team, and a depleted Indians squad, (and don't get me started on the mass-unemployment) Lebron is really the only glimmer of light on that city the same way Griffey was to Seattle decades ago.

It's not possible due to the payroll on those teams. But I'm sure you knew that.

What Stern has done is make the refs work overtime for LeBron and his team. ;)

If the Cavs don't win it this year I can't see LeBron staying. Does he really want to be stuck with Jamison, Mo Williams and Varejao?

Once he starts exploring his options I can't imagine he sticks around.

The Celtics are tied with the Cavaliers at 1-1 in this Eastern Conference semifinal series despite attempting 30 fewer free throws and playing through constant foul trouble. Coach Doc Rivers did not want to complain publicly about the officiating, but he was distressed by the numbers. In the first halves, the Celtics have been whistled for 31 fouls to 12 for Cleveland; the Cavaliers went 19 minutes 26 seconds of Game 2 without a team foul.

They talked about this on the radio today, saying LeBron already is getting ready for the excuses to leave Cleveland if they lose to C's or Magic. (and it's going to happen, either series, they're not going to finals unless Jesus himself comes down to help them)

He'll either end up in New York, Miami or surprise us all by going to Chicago.

Wow, what a funny, yet completely irrelevant response. The Cavs went to the FT line like 15 times in the first half quarter. You said the Celtics were going to get calls, where were they? Feel free to answer with a response that makes sense this time.

Wow, nothing better than somebody who clearly didn't watch the game trying to give a post game play-by-play. Where were the calls for the Celtics? Answer that question. Name one specific call that went in their favor.

The calls the Cavs got helped them get their early lead. It gave them easy points and put Boston players in early foul trouble. The Celtics, instead of fighting back, sulked, whined and cried their way through the rest of the game. I do not believe the refs affected the outcome, but they definitely affected the mental state of the Celtics team, who folded before the 2nd quarter even started. It was pretty much the exact opposite of what you said was going to happen. Maybe you should acknowledge that CK and the author of the article I posted had a point when they brought up the officiating.

Hmm I didn't think Pierce and Allen would suck like that. I'd say that has a lot to do with it as well.

Well if your team folded because of the refs that's on them. The Lakers took 30 less free throws than the Celtics in Game 2 of the Finals and still played them pretty close (I don't blame the refs for us losing in 2008 by the way). I think that's because of the talent level like I said before. It just isn't there for you guys.

Yes, you're right. It's the talent level. Even though the Celtics won easily in game 2 and controlled most of game 1, they are not talented enough to get within 30 points of the Cavs. That makes so much sense. Thank you very much for enlightening me.

I can't believe I waste my time arguing with somebody that says such ridiculous things and (pretends to?) believe them.

    I agree....

I can only see him leaving to go to a bigger market: New York, LA or Chicago. Considering Jordan played in Chicago and Kobe is in LA, NY is the only logical choice from his standpoint. This kid could be the best player to ever play the game and he wants to prove it. If thats the case, you can't get a much bigger stage than NYC.

yes, he definitely would rather be "stuck" with jamison, mo williams, and varejao than be playing by himself in new york or with harris/lopez in new jersey.

if lebron looks around and explores his options he'll probably notice that the teams able to sign him are all worse than the team he is currently on.

you tell me I can't use a one game sample size, yet turn around and use one yourself. You bring up a bunch of series' that are complete, this one has gone 3 games so far. We don't know who wins this one yet or how many games it goes. How the hell can you compare it to any other series? You wasted a bunch of time to prove nothing.

btw, love how you make it seem like boston was blown out in game 1. They had the lead with 2 mins left.

both teams have folded in one game. your dumb theory or whatever can be applied to each team right now. The series is not over.
