Tony Parker is the last guy San Antonio should part with.

Jameer has played very well. He's still undersized though and he's still the same player that many fans on this board felt had a lower "upside" than Sebastian Telfair.

Are you trying to somehow sell me on the notion that Sebastian Telfair is a better NBA point guard than Jameer Nelson?

Nelson had a 15.5 PER in the regular season and is a 16.3 PG for his career. He's had an outstanding postseason thus far. Is he the next Hedo, although Hedo had a shitty playoff PER last year?

Of course not. I'm just pointing out what was posted in the past. Jameer has played well, but he's a beneficiary of the roster they have in Orlando. He would not enjoy the same success elsewhere.

Utterly ridiculous. Nelson is the catalyst for that team. Look, I'm not saying he's a top 3 point guard in the league, but anybody who shoots 47% from the floor, 39% from 3, and averages about 7 assists per 36 minutes is a player, regardless of where they play.

He fits very well with the talent Orlando has on their squad. They have excellent 3 point shooters and a great big man inside. I still don't think he'd be more than an average point guard elsewhere.
