We better not sign Diakhate. He is a versatile player (can play centreback and holding midfield) but his he is awful when it comes to aerial challenges and that is exactly what we don't need. Plus, I've heard that Kiev want £15m now, and that is way to steep for a player that will be a back-up.

    - Barcelona believe an offer of £40-50m will be enough to tempt Arsenal into selling captain Cesc Fabregas after the World Cup. The other tactic Barcelona may employ is an offer of £25m plus midfielder Yaya Toure.
    - Arsenal are ready to take England winger Shaun Wright-Phillips from Manchester City for £5m.
    - Arsenal defender William Gallas has rejected a new two-year deal at the Emirates because the offer does not include a pay rise.

^ We already have the youngest team in the EPL... it really doesn't matter when it comes to keepers. Buffon can be great for another six seasons. I think it would be a good move to pick him up, even if it costs us Sagna.

I really have no problem with Buffon, or really any GK that we are supposedly tracking. They all are significantly better than Alumunia and Flapinski.

If i had a wish list of the one we are tracking it would look something like this

    1- Joe Hart
    2- Buffon
    3- Akinfeev
    4- Lloris
5- Any of the 3 previously mentioned that aren't playing in top flight leagues.

I'm actually very interested in Arsenal.com's decision in adding a transfer rumor section.

I'd sign him but I don't know what we'd do to shuffle the midfield.
