its an interesting group though, with argentina and greece being the strongest IMO, and nigera, korea will give them hell to get the points.

Quite a boring group, in my opinion. Argentina don't always perform up to standard and Messi isn't like the Messi we all know once he puts on the shirt. Lets see if he changes that stigma.

We all know Argentina will lose if they see Brazil somewhere in the next stage. lol

    The Greeks posted their squad:

Michalis Sifakis (Aris Salonika), Alexandros Tzorvas (Panathinaikos), Kostas Chalkias (PAOK Salonika); Giorgos Seitaridis (Panathinaikos), Loukas Vintra (Panathinaikos), Evangelos Moras (Bologna), Socrates Papastathopoulos (Genoa), Sotiris Kyrgiakos (Liverpool), Avraam Papadopoulos (Olympiakos), Vasilis Torosidis (Olympiakos), Nikos Spiropoulos (Panathinaikos), Stelios Malezas (PAOK Salonika), Giorgos Tzavellas (Panionios), Kostas Manolas (AEK Athens), Giorgos Galitsios (Olympiakos), Stergos Marinos (Panathinaikos); Kostas Katsouranis (Panathinaikos), Alexandros Tziolis (Siena), Giorgos Karagounis (Panathinaikos), Sotiris Ninis (Panathinaikos), Christos Patsatzoglou (Omonia), Grigoris Makos (AEK Athens), Sakis Prittas (Aris Salonika), Lazaros Christodoulopoulos (Panathinaikos); Angelos Charisteas (Nuremberg), Dimitris Salpigidis (Panathinaikos), Pantelis Kapetanos (Steaua Bucharest), Theofanis Gekas (Hertha Berlin), Giorgos Samaras (Celtic), Kostas Mitroglou (Olympiakos).

I would say that they weren't nice enough to break it out by position, then I remember these are the Greeks...they named 30 defenders.

Argentina is gonna be fun to watch because they will be so much better than everyone (even though the nigeria game is gonna be really good)

Nigeria is by far my favorite African team, really like Taiwo and Martins

Greece is a lot more offensive than the defensive juggernaut they were in 2004

and if South Korea is the worst team in your group, you know your group is pretty competetive

Basically its the most competitve group of the 8, the other ones all have at least one team not as good as south korea

Too often. Just waiting for someone to drop with Cameroon. If I'm Paul LeGuen I'm wrapping Eto'o, Kameni, Song, and Makoun in bubble wrap and storing them in a cool, dry place until the cup starts.
