Who cares about margin of victory? If team A wins 3 games by 20 and team B wins 4 games by 1, team B still wins the series. The regular season series was 2-2, if you wanna take out the game with no Jamison, then take out the game with no Pierce. Now it's 1-1.
You talk about small sample sizes, then you dismiss Pierce's entire season and try to use an 8 game sample size.
also, on the same subject of sample size. It's one think to factor in margin of victory over a whole season, like your Lakers example. But talking margin of victory in a 7 game span is useless.
awesome, he still was more effective this season than Jamison. I like how you constantly try to change the argument when your previous one runs out of steam. give it up.
In defense of New Jersey, I can pretty much guarantee a team of Harris/Lopez/T-Will/Douglas-Roberts AND a top 3 pick with Lebron would win 60 games. Easy. As for NYC, unless they snag an Amare of JJ with Lebron, they could still win 50. To simplify this, Lebron is so good that if you add him on NJ, NYC, and Chicago, they could be as good as this current Cavs teams (a BIG maybe on NYC though pending on their acquisitions).
You've said that you don't like QB rating...or passing yards... Tom Brady's 3 rings to Peyton's 1 is definitely sweeter, though. Face it HK, Cleveland is not as good as they were advertised to be. Boston is way more physical and way more well rounded. Hopefully they close the series out and don't drop the ball.
At current they are worse, but those teams are in position for a major turnaround. Nets have cap space to sign two max players (including LeBron) and have a shot at landing John Wall in addition to Lopez/Harris. Knicks have cap space to sign two max players (including LeBron) and the owner will spend money. LeBron wouldn't have much around him right away, but that team would attract plenty of interest for free agents to consider. Knicks also have Eddy Curry coming off the books in 2011 giving them another asset to build around LeBron with. How does LeBron with either Bosh or Amare paired with Danilo & Chandler compare to Jamison & Mo? Bulls he'd pair with Rose, Deng & Noah Clippers Baron, Gordon, Blake Griffin, Kaman & LeBron is a solid starting 5 wouldn't you agree? Plus whoever they end up drafting in the lottery.
