I'm quite positive Rooney will be supporting Crouch. We'll see a bit of Defoe and Bent throughout the tournament, I'm sure.

Keep an eye on Rene Krhin. One of the top youngsters in the World Cup this year. Besides that, not much to look at.

Yeah, I'm not sure that will be happening this time around but I don't know what's going on inside Capello's head.

Since we are talking about england for the moment.... i wanted to reminisce on better times....

I just saw that the only two teams that england has a worse GD against in their history over Romania is Brazil/Uruguay

England is 2-6-3 against Romania :)

I think we have your guys's number... and i just remember that 1998 game, when petrescu scored that goal on seamen in th 90 min to seal the group :) it was awesome, i was like 11

You can't seriously think you have a good squad. Full of coke addicts.

Really strange news with Zamora. He wasn't relevant with England, so he decided to play with Trinidad and Tobago and got a passport through his father. It was supposed to be him and Jlloyd Samuel joining right before the end of CONCACAF qualifying, but Zamora got hurt before he could play. Now he has a decent season and England want him?

The first part is strange but how is the latter? Why wouldn't we want him? He has been prolific this season and we've lacked options up-front. I'd feel much more confident if we scrapped Heskey and played Zamora but his injury has been bothering him for years.

I think it'll be easy too, with the only team causing trouble being United States. :)

Donovan says Rooney is "worn out."

I like the confidence, but I'm not sure you want to start poking at Rooney. I'd guess that Onyewu, DeMerit, and Bocanegra would say Rooney looks pretty fresh.

No, no. Keep poking fun at him. He has very low self-esteem so any insult will completely throw off his game. ;)
