Re: LeBron to the Bulls? 3 GMs think so SamSmithHoops http://twitter.com/SamSmithHoops Just heard from 3 GM's who told me they don't know what LeBron will do. How amazingly stupid are reports already he is going to Bulls.
Re: LeBron to the Bulls? 3 GMs think so I dont know. Maybe. He said tonight he is all about winning. He would need a lot of adding and subtraction to make a playoff team, but would that team contend out of the gates? With the Bulls we would be eastern conference contenders by just adding Lebron. Either way it is going to be an exciting summer.
Re: LeBron to the Bulls? 3 GMs think so how much capspace do bulls have? enough for just lebron or more pieces?
Re: LeBron to the Bulls? 3 GMs think so enough for James and some cheap shooters. We can trade deng and Hinrich, their salaries could be enough to get another star coming back to us in a sign and trade. That being said, getting the other team to agree to the sign and trade is another matter all together.
Re: LeBron to the Bulls? 3 GMs think so This is off topic, but it it interesting. chrisbosh http://twitter.com/chrisbosh
Re: LeBron to the Bulls? 3 GMs think so I see, hopefully it works out man, I want to see LeBron in Bulls uniform myself.
Aggrey Sam:Is LeBron Chicago-bound, overrated? LeBron James is overrated. The NBA's MVP is a quitter. His elbow may or may not be as injured as much as observers assume, and is wrongly being used as an excuse for his poor performance against the Celtics. LeBron is tanking the Cavaliers' title hopes and will leave Cleveland--for Chicago--as soon as humanly possible. At least that's what some would have you believe after the superstar's struggles in the Cavs' Game 5 blowout defeat at the hands of Boston. There's no question that James hasn't played up to par in the second round of the playoffs. After Tuesday night's 30-point loss, Cleveland trails Boston, three games to two, and is on the brink of going on summer vacation if they can't get it together Thursday evening in Beantown, bringing the series back to Ohio. James' 15-point, three-for-14 shooting night--and an overall lack of aggressiveness that has haunted him all series, sans Game 3--is a major reason the league's top regular-season team is in this boat in the first place. However, while the reigning two-time MVP is unquestionably the straw that stirs Cleveland's drink (as well as the glass and the drink itself), his lack of support has also been as issue. Newfound LeBron bashers will say he's equipped with his best supporting cast--including Shaquille O'Neal, Antawn Jamison and Mo Williams--he's ever had. Even Cavs owner Dan Gilbert grumbled that he's done all he can to put the team in the best situation possible. But it simply could be that the veteran Celtics--who everybody had written off due to their lackluster regular season--have finally gotten healthy, found the necessary cohesion and with point guard Rajon Rondo taking his game to a new level, be the better team? Besides James (matched up with longtime All-Star Paul Pierce, no slouch himself, at small forward), where do the Cavaliers have a clear advantage? For all of Jamison's experience and ability, he hasn't exactly had a lot of postseason success. Even with Williams making the All-Star team last season, he certainly came up short when it counted last spring. As far as Shaq--who was the best Cav on the court in Game 5--he can still get it done in stretches, but his days of carrying a team are long gone. http://www.csnchicago.com/05/12/10/...unningbulls_v3.html?blockID=233676&feedID=627 Note: Article was written May 12, 2010.
So ok, my semi-serious commentary here is whether the Bulls actually want him. Does Reinsdorf want the "headache" of having an international money-making icon? Maybe that's just crazy talk and we're trying hard to lure him with Mo Cheeks and Barney Frank, but I do wonder if we have some trepidation about putting a guy with real independence in the midst of the franchise.
rumor LeBron called Rose http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=5187816 scoop jackson talking with common and actor ken jeong about lebrons future.
Let's think about what drives Reinsdorf. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ LeBron on a Max deal is a huge bargain. Hell, ya, he will take him.
LeBron has 22 playoff games in a row with over 33 PER. I'm not sure if people remember but, there's no Scottie out there. And Bron dominated the #1 defense last year but still lost. So whatever...
Lebron's overall cast is failrly comparable to what MJ had to work with. MJ is also a hell of a lot smarter. He got in the post a lot more even though he didn't nearly have the size of Lebron. Magic setup in the post more. Same with Bird.
Hmm, no it sure isn't. Mo has Derek Fisher PER in the playoffs, LeBron has Jordan PER. Nice try though.
New rules lebron has old rules MJ PER. I would hate to see what MJ would be putting up now. How does Lebron's cast compare to what Wade won a championship with?
