The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added import defensive back Bernard Hicks and import offensive lineman Andre Douglas to the roster.

Douglas (6-4, 308, Temple, DOB: September 14, 1986 in New Rochelle, New York) spent some time on the Dallas Cowboys practice roster after playing his collegiate football at Temple. During his time with the Owls, Douglas was in charge of protecting current Bomber quarterback Adam DiMichele and started 24 games during his final two years.

Hicks (5-11, 210, California, DOB: October 17, 1986 in Fresno, California) played four years with the California Bears making 24 starts at safety. In 2008, his season was cut short due to injury but he still ended the year with 23 tackles. In 2007, his junior year, Hicks logged 13 games and nine starts, finishing with 40 tackles and four pass knockdowns.
