Well, I DO have more head coaching experience and success than over 1/2 the choices.

I vote other, and vote Either a VG, or McHale

I would like Rick Adelman but I don't know if we could get him.

Sad thing is I think you actually believe that.

I wonder what this comment is about? I said nothing about being better, I simply stated what is more than likely fact. I have been a head basketball coach at the secondary education level for 25 years. I only see one coach on that list that has that many years of head coaching experience.

AND, it was just a simply playful response to someone who brought me into the conversation. Because they are in the NBA doesn't neccessarily make them better. I would assume everyone would agree with that? Not saying that all of them aren't though.

In the last twenty years the title has been won by six coaches. They are Phill Jackson, Larry Brown, Greg Popovich, Doc Rivers, Rudy Tomjonovich and Pat Reily.

Do you honestly believe that Scott Brooks (who isn't even on the list) is as good as the worst of these guys? Do you think Nate should even be in the same conversation?

I don't. Not one of the choices in the poll should be either.

Sad to say but a team doesn't need just a good fit. They need a good fit that is also an excellent coach.

Not one of the coaches that could be selected in the poll qualify.

You're right. But Rudy T is currently just scouting. Wonder if he'd be interested in another head coaching gig.

Like KP, if the Blazers were stupid enough to let Nate go, he will find another NBA gig pretty quickly.

Why not lose there like he has in Seattle and Portland? At least with that 1 really good year in Seattle he finished above .500 up there

I'm leaning toward bad ass Bill Laimbeer's combat baskeball. His toughness might actually inspire the softies we have now.

I thought he did a pretty good job with the Twolves when he stepped down as GM and took over coaching.

Izzo would be great ... I'd worry that he'd wear on guys kind of like Skiles does eventually, but he's one of the truly great college coaches, versus being a great recruiter like Calipari or Pitino.
