Well that all depends on who is going to trade Portland their draft pick!

Nets. Get Wall as far away from us as possible.

My main reason would be whichever team would help the Blazers most, but I'm not sure which that is. If New Orleans won, you'd have to think that either Chris Paul or current board-darling Collison would be available (I don't believe they'd just take Evan Turner). Would the Jazz shop Deron Williams if they got Wall? I dunno. Only if they could unload a bad contract or two with him. And even then, I think they'd be more likely to play Williams and Wall together (after all, Sloan played Derek Fisher at 2G). Would the Nets trade Harris? Maybe, but probably they'd offer him as part of a sign and trade for LeBron or Bosh. Maybe the Sixers end up being the best bet: Jrue Holliday was looking really good at the end of last season, but if they had Wall, I bet they'd package up Holliday to get rid of Brand's contract, and I actually like Brand as a backup big.
(What if the Kings get it, though? Would they try a Wall-Evans backcourt? I think they would. Evans should be a 2G anyway.)

Wolves. Feel bad for them. They have never moved up, plus it makes their assets trade-able, maybe getting Flynn on the cheap?

It's crazy to list the teams with good young PGs:

    Nets - Devin Harris
    Wolves - Rubio, Flynn
    Kings - Evans
    Warriors - Curry
    76ers - Holliday
    Pistons - Stuckey (jury out)
    Jazz - Williams
    Hornets - Paul, Collison
Grizzlies - Conley (looked a lot better after Iverson left)

And the other teams have expensive vets at PG: Arenas, Davis, Ford, Calderon/Jack. I guess the Pacers have the biggest hole. Boy, I can't see Wall being happy to end up there, though. That's got to be the blah-est team in the country.

If the Wolves win, Flynn's got to be the one traded, right? Rubio's not coming over yet, and they can imagine him playing alongside Wall, much as he plays next to Navarro.

Hornets. They have 2 pretty good PGs already, so if they draft Wall, one will almost have to be traded.

Chad Ford said that if the Wolves get the #1 pick they very well could take Evans over Wall.

...shortly after which David Kahn's head would be seen being carried on a stake through the streets of Minneapolis.

I voted Nets, but really I'm for whomever ends up with a superfluous "good" point guard and is willing to trade them.

This reinforces two important concepts to me:

    1. Having one of your more skilled players at the PG position isn't correlated with team success.
    2. There are many acceptable PG's in the league, the price of adding a solid but unspectacular starter in future seasons will be reasonable.

I'd like to see them be competitive again and it'd be nice to see them get a young stud to pair up with Blake Griffin.

I'll say Detroit. They suck anyways, and while he'll be good, they're in disarray, so wouldn't be woried about him turning around a franchise. And, I wouldn't mind going after Stuckey to play alongside brandon in a very big backcourt.

Clips also have cap space, and a large market. Could you imagine if they got Wall, Lebron, and a healthy Griffin? :shudders:

I'm starting to think the Kings are going to win the lottery tonight. They are the only team left that nobody wants to win.:sherlock:

Don't really care for the teams, as long as #1 and #2 go to the East. There is too much talent in the west as is.
