Kobe Bryant had a "significant amount of fluid" drained from his right knee recently and hasn't practiced with the Los Angeles Lakers since they advanced through the Western Conference semifinals, the Los Angeles Times reported on Monday. Bryant isn't the only Laker hurting. Center Andrew Bynum has practiced just once since the Lakers advanced past the Utah Jazz to the conference final. He said his right knee injury was "getting a little worse" after taking part in a team scrimmage on Saturday. The Lakers had no comment when asked Monday for confirmation of Bryant's knee being drained. http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/news/story?id=5195366
I'm not worried about Drew's knee. He said its the same as it was in Game's 3 and 4, which means he can play effectively. His defense was nice those games, I'll take it. I'm worried about how Kobe's knee is going to be after tonight, like Shape said.
Knee was drained a while ago, not recently according to Phil and I trust his word more than anyone. Plus he did explode for 40 points today so I think it is a "non factor"
Yeah they mentioned his knee was drained in the Oklahoma series. I'm not sure if they drained it again recently? He looked fine last night and had the bounce in his step.
