I was actually listening on the radio on my way home. The announcer on the local sports station managed to totally screw it up. They broadcast the actually calling of the teams, then when they got to the last 3 the announcer said it was New Jersey, Philly and the Warriors. Now, the Warriors had already been called, at 6, dropping 2 slots. I thought maybe they had two lotto picks? And after a long speculation about how John Wall and Stephen Curry could manage to play together if the Warriors got #1, and how it would be a very small but very quick backcourt, and what would that mean to Monte Ellis, he finally said, oops, it's not Warriors, it's Washington. Which I guess just about fits the Warriors level of competence! But they can console themselves thinking they might get the next Brandon Roy (#6 pick).
