I've always had an appreciation for architecture, I'm getting into designing houses again, I'll post if I come up with anything good. Anyone else interested in the subject?
I've always liked architecture. I find it underrated sometimes, people look it over like its no big deal. But then agian its something very important because everyone lives in a house. I doubt I have the skills to be an architect, you have to have a good thought process and a clever mind to be one
I went to RI yesterday and saw some amazing mansions from the late 19th century, very impressive buildings. One had 500,000 sq ft. of marble all over the walls, it was amazing. Google "marble house" if you're interested.
yea, I took an architecture class for a year, and I got kinda interested in it. I was pretty good at it too - I was pretty good at doing all the floor plans and stuff - I quit it after a year. I did however get to visit a house by Frank Lloyd Wright - that was tyyytee.
i'm interested in architecture. I like art deco (like the Chrysler Tower, love that), and i really like modern asian design. Like japanese houses that blend traditional japanese with modern western architecture. Or the Taipei 101 tower. I generally have a penchant for skyscrapers.
I don't like the Tapei 101. I'm more into residential design then commercial buildings, although I can appreciate both.
