    FYI...The one fruit you really want to eat organic is STRAWBERRIES. They get sprayed tons and their skin allows most of it inside the fruit.

    My wife saw this and is now on a organic frenzy. Problem is organic fruit and veggies are alot more expensive!!

    Not sure if you have them available or they are out of the way, but local farmer markets pricing is usually cheaper for organic. If you develop a relationship with them after a few visits they usually hook you up with better pricing or free produce.

    Urban garden, dude. You'd be amazed at what you can produce in a small space with raised beds and climbing plants. I am still eating last year's garden from the freezer while harvesting over winter and early spring crops. Ever eat a pea pod right off the plant? Almost like candy.
