Last nights was a good one. Ben was originally going to be a minor character, but he was sooo good they kept him around. And yes, I think Ben is just posturing with Smokey, otherwise he wouldnt have given Miles the walkie.
It basically follows the plot but does miss quite a bit of details. I loved the first 2 seasons of Lost maybe the best two seasons of any TV series ever IMO. When I saw the number on the hatch at the end of season 1 I had chills and the hair standed on the back of my neck. I was hooked big time. I also sort of liked season 3 but didn't care for season 4 and hated season 5 and didn't care for this season all that much either. I'm still looking forward to the end though. I plan on watching all of Lost this Sunday including the 2 hour series wrap up before the finale. I followed these characters for so long and really care about some of them and want to see what happens to them. I really think you just need to watch the first two seasons and the 2 hour special before the finale and you would be ok with watching. I actually think with the 2 hour special before the finale will give you enough info to get a lot out of the finale if you never planned on watching Lost. Lost always does a good job of the series recap many times with their 1-2 hour specials over the years.
That was fantastic. We are so hooked that my daughters and I are going to watch a closed-circuit interview with the producers at Regal Cinemas tomorrow night. I get that all questions wont be answered by the end of the show, but I still have two: What is the island? I think they will answer that. and 2 - why did the others kidnap children? I think we will never know that.
