Hopefully we're sticking with KP, but if the decision has already been made to replace him, I wonder if Vandeweghe would get some consideration? http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nba/news/story?id=5201670
Most likely. For all the bad shit that went down in NJ during his short period there, he is also the guy that turned Denver around from Rock Bottom. But then again, maybe that is all he is good at, and is unable to take a team from good to best.
IIRC, Vandeweghe was the one who definitively declared last year that they were building around Devin Harris. I wonder if this somehow increases his availability.
I can agree with that. It definitly didn't turn around due to the street ball tryouts he had his first year......
One of my first Blazer memories was walking up to Kiki and saying hi, while he was practicing layups at the River place Athletic club when I was 7 or so(1988). Cool experience for a 7 year old.
It's a good thing Kiki is a free agent. Otherwise we'd trade LaMarcus Aldridge, Marcus Camby, Jerryd Bayless and two first round picks for him.
Groan! Then we'd have to spend another 10 years watching the Rocky Mountain Nets? I'm still not over the last time we did something like that.
Ding ding ding! I was hoping someone would pick up on my allusion to our deal with Denver for him. Nicely done and repped!
DAMN! He was just sitting front row of the draft lottery last night! The Russians are coming.......... the Russians are coming.......... Maybe they'll hire Sabonis or Ivan Drago as the next GM!
