    To go from $12 million to $5 million is a bit absurd, IMO.

    If the Lakers win again, they'll pay him the money to come back and try and get a 3-peat. If they don't win, they'll more than likely severe the ties with Brian Shaw possibly waiting in the wings.

    This comment to me, however, is classic Phil. He does this with his players and the refs all the time. He isn't afraid to use the media to call people out and right now he's calling out Dr. Buss.

    They'll figure it out this summer. PJax said he'd like to travel less with the team because of his health issues so there could be some compromise.

    It's all speculation from an unverified source. I can't imagine the Lakers are going to make any decisions on PJax future until this season is over and depending on what happens in the CBA agreement. Lakers front office is pretty tight lipped about behind the scenes operations these days.
