I'm pretty sure it takes place today and tomorrow. I wanna see some of the player measurements, interviews, and how some do with the drills. Kinds weird not seeing Donatas Motiejunas on that list though.
I really want us to move up and get Cole Aldrich. To be honest though, a portion of me wants to see how he measures up first.
I saw some highlights of Aldrich last year i believe and I liked what I saw. Friends of mine say he isnt that good tho. So I really dont know what to think. I thought he was athletic (highlights deceived me) but other than that I dont really know much about him. I'd like for us to somehow get evan turner but I dont think thats gonna happen.
According to DX twitter feed they don't expect the measurements to happen until tomorrow. Could be reading that out of context as their twitter feed is a little confusing.
this is how the top 5 (projected) players measure up: John Wall = 6 '2.75' w/o shoes, 6 '4' with shoes, 6 '9.25' wingspan Evan Turner = 6 '5.75' w/o shoes, 6 '7' with shoes, 6 '8' wingspan Demarcus Cousins = 6 '9.75' w/o shoes, 6 '10.75' with shoes, 7 '5.75' wingspan Derrick Favors = 6 '8.75' w/o shoes, 6 '10.25' with shoes, 7 '4' wingspan Wesley Johnson = 6 '6.25' w/o shoes, 6 '7.25' with shoes, 7 '1' wingspan
Cousins was smaller than I thought. Favors was bigger than I thought. Having stood beside Wall, he's exactly the height I thought he'd be, around an inch shorter than me.
Nope. Turner's wingspan is 6'8'. I found that werid too, but remember, he doesn't have very wide shoulders, so that definitely didn't help.
