Soccer sucks. Who else is with me. Constantly sick of the media trying to shove a sport down our throats. Look at this week's Time magazine. They do these stories everytime the fucking world cup comes on and its basically just a bunch of articles about how Soccer is "really picking up steam". Then its over and people just continue not giving a fuck about it. Reminds me of the "Stuff White People Like":
Re: Soccer sucks. While I disagree with your opinion.. you certainly are entilted to it. Soccer actually is starting to pick up here in the States. Numbers start sagging in the NBA, and MLB, but numbers are picking up in MLS.

Re: Soccer sucks. I can actually understand why you'd be annoyed. If I kept reading shit about baseball in the news I'd probably dig my eyes out. I think the media are just trying to get Americans addicted to football. It will eventually happen but they're trying too hard.
Re: Soccer sucks. It wasn't that so much as when I was going to bars last time around for the world cup, you have a very "different" type of "sports fan" watching the game. Its basically you got the douchebags who are hanging out at starbucks all day interested in sports because its "European".
Re: Soccer sucks. lol actually thats what turned me off to Baseball growing up. My dad LOVES Baseball and it was crammed down my throat growing up.. I occassionally watch it.. but it def takes a back back back seat for me.
