City's record signing has declared that he does not wish to return to Eastlands next season.

Robinho came from Real Madrid for £32.5million last season breaking the Citeh's transfer record. Although he showed a few flashes of brilliance, the Brazilian never settled in England and was eventually loaned to his old club Santos.

Robinho will feature in Brazil's squad for the 2010 World Cup.

He wants to stay in Brazil but it doesn't look like Santos can meet the fee.

Isn't it strange that no one wants him? He used to be regarded as a top Brazilian player.

Then again, he wasn't wanted before. Real Madrid wanted to let him go and he was the only "good" player City could get so they splashed their cash.

Robinho will be a starter for the Brazilian Squad in the WC. I bet if he has a good tournament a lot of teams will want his services.
