Ok, this is where things go bad for people like me. Michael Savage (Weiner is his real last name) has been a very entertaining person to listen to for years. I knew he was likely a phony many years ago but recently things have gotten so bad it is disgusting. I catch his show on the drive home when the sports radio guys are boring me once in a while so I might have been the last to catch on but here goes. NOW, Savage airs these fake interviews that someone puts together using sound bites of Michael. The interview will start with something like this...."Here is Johnny Boompa with information about big government" The story will then go on with the guest speaking for 99 percent of the time, usually with something outrageous that government is doing. Which isn't hard to find by they way. Then, the guest will say something in their speech like "Obama eats children's souls" and then SOMEONE will interject a pre recorded sound clip of Savage saying something like "THAT'S CRAZY, SORRY BUT THAT IS JUST CRAZY" Then the guest goes on for a while and someone will interject another Savage sound bite like "Where can we read more?" and the guest will give a website out or something like that. There seems to be like 5 or 6 main sound clips they use to make their fake interviews and it just makes me sick to my stomach. I really wonder how many people who listen to him haven't caught on yet. Please save the lecture about how Savage is a racist and homophobe and yada yada yada.....know it just always thought his show was funny. Often in the same way I loved Chappelle's show, but at least I knew that was fake the whole time.

I doubt Lars Larson, or Rush Limbaugh, or whoever, are as hard-core conservative as they come off as. The more extreme you are (and I don't mean loony extreme), the bigger brush you paint your audience with.

Savage always seemed to be more honest to me in the old days. Which is why I didn't agree with him about 20-30 percent of them time. Which was better than the 50-50 give or take number I get with those I listed. I just try to take each issue at face value and then think about it. Then I try to think about my prejudices and how that affects my initial reaction to things. So, I usually come down to a decision on how I would prefer the world to be and most of the time I come to a conclusion that I would prefer such and such to be reality but I understand that we live in a free country. A good example is idiots with their boxer shorts exposed while their jeans are just below their butt cheeks. I WISH it was illegal and a crime punishable by a year in prison, but I know it can't be that way.

Especially a girl. well you wanted her to see your underwear for another reason, but during the middle of the day when you're walking to your next class.

I'll listen Savage if he's on even though I probably disagree with him 95% of the time. I think it's healthy to listen to someone you disagree with to understand where they're coming from. Anyway He did one of those fake interviews and it was really awkward to listen to. The guest was speaking about how Paul Newman moved from a liberal spokesperson to a conservative and a proponent of nuclear power. There were no follow up questions, no back n forth. Just the occasional "That's crazy man" peppered throughout the piece. It's really unnecessary. They could just say "Here is so and so with a piece on so and so" and just let the guy do his thing. He's not getting any more credibility with savage's fake responses.
