    Diarra has been ruled-out of the World Cup with a stomach injury, ESPN reports. This could open the door for a Nasri call-up who was left out of the 24-man squad.

    Sources believe a replacement is needed as there are only five players available for a midfield pick in the French squad.

    I was a little shocked when he wasn't named to the team, but there were several glaring omissions. Hopefully he gets a chance to play.
