It's kind of scary. And what's even scarier is that they haven't even played amazingly. It's like they're coasting. Carter's shooting % is low, Howard's numbers are down. Only Nelson's numbers are up. And remember, he was missing for their run to the finals last year. They've got to be favorites for the title at this point, haven't they?

They are doing to teams that I think we all thought the Lakers would be doing to teams. Or at least we thought that 2 months ago. So yeah I think Orlando has to be considered as at least one of the favorites with Cleveland.

Lets see how the lake show does tonight.

    :sigh:

Remember when some Blazer fans were sneering at the notion that Oden would "only" be as good as Howard? What might have been.

    1. Quite frankly, no, I don't.
    2. It's not just Howard. Howard has been bottled up pretty well in several of Orlando's games. It's the team working as a unit.
    3. Can we not make every single thread into a woe-is-us-Oden-got-injured thread?

Trampling "teams"?? Orlando has only beaten two teams. A Bobcats team that had never been in the playoffs and a Hawks team that barely beat the Bogutless Bucks. That's it. They're ability to do that says nothing about their ability to beat Cleveland, Boston, LA, or Phoenix. Or San Antonio or Utah, for that matter.

Never let it be said that KingSpeed isn't right sometimes. Nor let it be said that he is above shameless self-bumping. ;)

Well I know I was wrong about everything in the East. I should have known better about any team that depends on VC. For a while I he had me thinking I was all wrong about him. But in the end I was wrong about Boston. Unbelievably wrong. But i have a lot of company there. Major props to Rondo.

That stuff I said about building the Blazers on the Magic blueprint?

    Never mind.

In other news: can we hire away Tom Thibodeau (sp)?

Well, given that he adopts every possible position, it would be logically impossible for him not to be.
