Hakeem won it with less than Lebron had on his team. I'm not sure how that plays in Lebron's favor. I'm sure you have some advanced stat however.

Too bad that's false, according to all the "fake" stats you don't like.

It's wierd that you point to this as the definitive ranking. First, it's not a ranking. It's a grouping of players. Second, Lebron and a bunch of other players are excluded because they never won a title. "to qualify for the Inner Circle list, a player must: A) have played 10 years professionally after 1951 in either the ABA or NBA; and B) have won at least 1 NBA Championship in their career."

But the author screwed up and included Karl Malone.

I can see why there is such confusion if this is you not hiding anything.

Who says Mo was the second option? PER says it was Jamison and Shaq.

That's because this generation wasn't included, duh.

I'm not even threatened by this.

Ah you're going by PER? Thanks all your arguments go up in smoke.

Think about it slowly, I just tricked you into using PER.

    You just destroyed your defense.

PER is a fine advanced stat. The best there is in my book. But ranking players is subjective. Or David Robinson would be considered the 4th best basketball player of all time.

p.s. So I guess you will take the Derek Fisher item off your list. At least, we have this much movement in opinion in 8 pages.

Absolutely not, Jamison has Derek Fisher PER, Mo has 12 PER. Averages out to about 13 PER for options #2 and #3.

Shaq plays 22 minutes a game and below Horry level. Allows more points as well.

Oh, I think LeBron is amazing for his age, and certainly up there with the greats. GOAT? Hardly.

Based upon statistical seasons he's put up at similar age. To that there is merit.

Until Jordan won championships, many said he was a loser and amazing at putting up great stats. After winning championships, they talk about him and Wilt as the GOAT.

Your whole argument is silly because LeBron is a loser and amazing at putting up great stats.

You have to be subjective about some things. I question whether Pippen would have been half the player he was, or certainly not a top 50 all time player, if he wasn't on the court with MJ. So MJ clearly made his teammates better, even the really awful ones (like Craig Hodges and Steve Kerr and John Paxson), while LeBron's teammates don't seem to be better off for playing with him.

I don't see any argument you've applied that makes Jordan better at 25. Personally I don't see how someone can maintain this level and not win a ring. Everyone ring chases eventually.

Pippen sucked without Jordan? 23.2 PER. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/pippesc01.html

The Bulls won 55 games without him that year. Did Jordan also coach during retirement too? ;)

Who did Hakeem have in 1993-1994? Second leading scoring on that team was Vernon Maxwell and he shot 37% from the field and averaged 13.8 per game. 12.5 PER.
