    I don't buy this effort or hunger talk. Two months ago all the critics were saying the Lakers would have little chance in the playoffs because they were struggling at then end of the season and didn't care.

    Ya know what, sometimes good teams lose. Only 1 team wins a championship each year, it doesn't mean the other teams don't try or have no heart or aren't hungry; it just means they got beat.

    Two months ago was the regular season. You find out what the teams are really about in the playoffs. Once Game 5 of the first round rolled around for the Lakers, they turned it up a notch and began playing at an entirely different level. No fucking around. Just taking care of business. They're not playing this well by accident. They want it badly. Grant Hill and Nash want it badly too, though. Let's see if they give the Lakers a fight tonight.
