Depress the right stick when you have that dead eye meter charged up and you will get a Max Payne-style slowdown where you can pick targets in slow motion.

I haven't done another duel yet, so I don't know. I have a question, how the fuck do you tell the difference between slow and fast horses? Right now I have some sort of gold-haired one, lolwut?
You can't tell unless you buy a horse. When you buy a horse deed, it tells you the rating of the horse and tells you whether or not it's fast.
I think I figured it out. Any one come across any wild boars? I think that is the only animal I haven't come across.
All the animals are indicated on the map with pictures. Go to that area to find the animal. Wild Boars will attack you even if you are on horseback. Cougars I think will only go after you on foot. With regards to stand-offs, as far as I can tell it works like this: Wait until it says draw When it does move the right stick to paint the target with x's where you want to shoot Extra points for shooting the gun out of his hand/not killing him Pull the left trigger to take out your gun after you have your sights set Should shoot automatically But half the time I get my ass blown off so I don't know if I'm doing it right.
Cougars will attack you on horseback, speeds. Trust me, I lost my stallion to a cougar attack :[ I had to go get another one. I'm going Wild Boar hunting in a little! fuck yeah!

Wait until it says draw Pull left trigger Line up shot(s) with right stick Pick shots as with dead eye Pull right trigger and wait Shooting him anywhere in the right arm will make him drop his gun, lose, and earn you double. Dunno about shooting his hat off.
