Don't have to disband them, just vote for 3rd party candidates. If enough people do that...

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Homer: America, take a good look at your beloved candidates. They're
nothing but hideous space reptiles. [unmasks the fake Dole and Clinton as Kang and Kodos]

    [audience gasps in terror]

Kodos: It's true, we are aliens. But what are you going to do about
it? It's a two-party system; you have to vote for one of us.

    [crowd murmurs]

    Man 1: He's right, this is a two-party system.

    Man 2: Well, I believe I'll vote for a third-party candidate.

Kang: Go ahead, throw your vote away. [Kang and Kodos laugh]

Nah, they also like to tell us how to live--how much money you make, what kind of healthcare you receive, how big your carbon footprint should be, etc.--yet believe those rules don't apply to them. Ex: Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Tim Geithner, Al Gore, Ted Kennedy, etc. Hypocrisy exists on both sides. It's too bad he couldn't live up to his own values, but people are human. At least he had a modicum of shame and resigned.

How about Ted Kennedy blocking a windmill farm that would have ruined the view from his house?
